alain is an installation made for the exhibition space abstract in lausanne. 

the pre-existing wood walls installed by alain, the owner of the gallery, have been painted with a specific green. it is the same used as a backdrop for filming that help filmmakers isolate the actors from the background and make special effects easier to create. 

the underground floor features the same wood walls. they are left as i found it apart that i took off three boards. those latters are shown on the ground floor. the three wood boards are then on sale or/and come back to me at the end of the exhibition.
